Therapeutic proteins are well-tolerated bioactive compounds used in different therapies, due to its high specificity and biopotency. Nevertheless, they may also present some physicochemical instability, leading loss of bioactivity hampering treatments. This can be avoided by loading into lipid nanoparticles, which biocompatible biodegradable carriers. The use lipids nanoparticles deliver therapeutic overcomes challenges, allowing administration all delivery routes. Thus, loaded liposomes, the first developed lipid-based nanocarriers composed phospholipid bilayers, solid a matrix, or nanostructured carriers made blend liquid as matrix. latter currently marking trend capacity, good stability upon storage better sustained release pattern. Production methods must focus both on attaining desired nanocarrier features, maintenance structure bioactivity. review aims make an insight overview application proteins, showing potential therapies.
